Mission & Vision

Jean “JD” and Bridgette Delva have more than 30 years of experience in construction, renovations, and residential property improvements. Since 2017, they have placed a stronger focus on their passion for residential renovations and helping restore homes with excellence, care, and purpose.

In 2020, JD and Bridgette planted roots in Ocala through the formation of Team Delva Properties. What began as a real estate and renovation company quickly became more than a business. As they built relationships with homeowners, investors, and families throughout the community, they saw firsthand how many people were struggling to maintain safe and livable homes.

While acquiring and rehabilitating distressed properties, JD and Bridgette often encountered families who wanted to remain in their homes but could not afford the repairs, renovations, or accessibility modifications they needed. Many homeowners were elderly, disabled, low income, or caring for loved ones with physical limitations. Without support, these families often faced difficult choices, including selling their homes, accumulating code violations, falling behind on maintenance, or living in unsafe conditions.

Out of this need, Team Delva Cares, Inc. was born.

Team Delva Cares is the nonprofit extension of Team Delva Properties, created to meet a real and growing need in the local community. Our purpose is to help families in need, older adults, individuals with disabilities, and low-income homeowners remain safely in their homes with dignity, stability, and peace of mind.
